I think,this quartet was as legendary as Miles Davis quartet.

This is one, if not the best solo I've ever heard, I think it's one of the first bass solos they started doing.

Hi, jazz newbie here! Could anyone share some tips for appreciating the bass and saxophone solo when the pianist stops playing chords and/or the drummer stops playing? I can’t even count the time in some parts of the bass solo. Thanks in advance!

Great to hear again . Most creative energy and sound.

I heard this song from the animation 'Blue Giant'. This song came very first in the movie, and I fall in love with the animation at that moment thanks to this song.

Those epic pieces of music had deserved better recordings/mixes. Tyner‘s breathtaking solo sounds like just piano with cymbal hits. Where‘s the bass?

In my opinion, it would be futile for any other quartet to record this masterpiece. No disrespect... just fact.

Honestly this is my favorite version of trane on impressions. Sound is hitting as always, harmonic ideas are insane
